The Ebrington Arms - a star in the eyes of Michelin

The Ebrington Arms has just got word that the pub has been included in the Michelin Guide for 'Eating Out in Pubs' for the first time.

Following a nomination letter to the respected guide from a satisfied customer, the Ebrington Arms was subsequently visited by Michelin inspectors during the summer.

Having been sufficiently impressed by the pub and restaurant's locally sourced food and charming decor, the discreet visitors added the pub to the 2010 guide, in which only 12 other Gloucestershire pubs have been included.

Speaking to the Cotswold Journal, landlord Jim said he and wife Claire were “absolutely ecstatic” about being included in the Guide.

Claire went on to attribute their success to their head chef James Nixon, as well as to their other chefs, Andrew
Knight and Sean Davenport.
