DRINKING AT THE EBRINGTON ARMS

The pub was originally the village Bakery, so both the cosy bar and the Old Bakehouse dining room have large Inglenook fireplaces, beams and bags of character.

The open fires in the bakehouse and the bar offer a cosy secluded place in winter whilst the lovely walled beer garden offers a perfect countryside place to stop for a pint or meal. We also have amazing views over the Cotswold Hills.

BEERS
There are five real ale pumps and we are very proud of our beers. We are currently serving the following:
Hooky Bitter (3.6%) - a subtly balanced, golden bitter, hoppy to the nose, malty on the palate - the classic session beer, eminently drinkable.
Oxfordshire
Stroud Organic Ale(4%) - Silver at Champion Beers of Gloucestershire 2008 A refreshing, golden organic ale with a delicate apple aroma.
Gloucestershire
Uley Bitter (4%) - a copper coloured beer with hops and fruit in the aroma, and a malty, fruity taste underscored by a hoppy bitterness with a hint of fruit in the taste. The finish is dry, with a balance of hops and malt.
Gloucestershire
Butty Bach (4.5%) - 'Butty Bach' is Welsh for 'little friend'. This full-bodied, smooth and satisfying premium ale is burnished gold in colour.
Herefordshire
Guest Ale (on 25/3) Inferno - Bronze Champion Bitter & Pale Ale - SIBA National Competition 2009!! This light igniting ale flickers complex fruits across your tongue leaving a dry fruity bitter finish smothering your thirst.
Oakham Brewery Woodston, Peterborough

CIDER
Robinsons Flagon Cider
(4.5%) - as this classic advertisement from the 1950's attests, you're certainly 'on the best wicket' with Robinson's Cider. But although it does it for us, we can't necessarily promise you will 'live appley ever after' as a result of drinking it! Robinson's Flagon Cider is a revival of the product that became the mainstay of the Robinson Cider business in the old days. It is only available on draught and is quite different to Robinson's Fine Dry Vintage Cider, which is only available in bottles. Try one after the other and you will see for yourself. It also contrasts strongly with the commercial brands: Robinson's Flagon Cider should be served cool but not chilled; it is gently sparkling, with only half the 'gasiness' of the commercial brands and it is slightly hazy. It also has the wonderful apple flavour that is and always has been the hallmark of Robinson's Cider.

LAGER
Cotswold Premium and their seasonal lager Cotswold Spring (4.0%) - Cotswold Spring has sprung heralding a return to lighter nights and big smiles all round. With its mellow sweetness and refreshing loveliness, Cotswold Spring Lager is a smile in a glass. As the spring flowers push their way through the soil with a big colourful 'Hello' it's almost like they are celebrating the return of Cotswold Spring Lager to our bar - It's all rather splendid!

WINE
Wine From Savage Selection (Northleach), Talking Wines (Cirencester) & Ebrington & French (Jean-Marc, Ebrington). Please check at the bar or in the restaurant for our latest wine list.

PORTS & SHERRYS
Ports & Sherry's from Edward Sheldons (Shipston On Stour) - Edward Sheldon have been trading continuously in Shipston on Stour since 1842 and has a colourful history. Richard Badger, who started the business, became a vintner after first selling medicated wine at his pharmacy and in the late 1850s he passed the reins to his nephew, Edward Sheldon. During the latter part of the 19th century the business flourished, supplying wines throughout the United Kingdom and to many parts of the Empire. Vintage Port, Sherry and Madeira were shipped for Warwickshire's affluent country houses, officer's messes here and abroad, and universities.
